-WHAT TO EXPECT-
Of all the types of sessions, newborn sessions hold a special place in my heart. There's something miraculous about new life entering the world and the joy, wonder and exhaustion that accompanies it. As a mom, I've been there and I get it! I get the excitement and anticipation leading up to giving birth. And I treasure the uniqueness of each birth story. I also get the fatigue (and in some cases, anxiety) that accompanies adding a new member to the family. That's why I make it my job to let you know exactly what you can expect during your newborn session and provide everything you need so that your session can be relaxed, enjoyable and stress-free! So for all you planners out there like me...here's what you can expect during our time together!

Where and When-
Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home 3-10 days postpartum. This is the magical window where baby settles into their deepest sleep and can be gently positioned. Sessions typically last 1.5-2 hours and includes posed and lifestyle shots of baby, mom, dad, siblings and even pets. You can expect a relaxed but effecient session with plenty of time for breaks for mom and family members.

What you need-
Nothing! I provide everything you need including wraps, baskets and headbands (if appropriate) and also bring a space heater to keep baby warm and sleepy during the session. I am also happy to incorporate any special items that you would like such as a specific outfit, wrap or blanket.
Once you book a session I also provide you with a style guide to help you choose your outfit before hand, alleviating any stress of what to wear the day of the session.

How to schedule your session-
Once I receive your inquiry, I will connect with you and answer any questions your have. From there, I'll add your due date to my calendar. All you need to do is add me to your VIP text list and send me a quick message once once your little one makes his or her grand entrance to the world. From there we will nail down the exact day and time of your session.
